Created machine learning models to predict customer attrition at Megatrax Production Music. Identified the biggest opportunities to keep satisfied customers.

Data Analyst at Megatrax Production Music

Data-driven decision making. With access to most company data I develop new revenue-generating processes, including:

Leading effort to address unlicensed usage of Megatrax Music in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile. Cease and desist letters, meeting with responsible parties, legal strategy, hiring lawyers, conducted in Spanish.

Development of new metadata terminology to improve searchability of music on 3rd party platforms.

Creating new metadata reporting for data delivery to new and existing clients.

2016-2017

Front End Developer at Primitive Spark

Developed the front-end of three applications for client Boston Consulting Group. The largest project was a 2 person, 50,000 LOC application that catalogs the departments, positions, responsibilities for all of its clients’ employees. The client could then understand its efficiencies and uncover opportunities for reorganization to improve its bottom line.

Worked on several dashboards and pages with heavy data input and visualization in tables. All pages required page loaded data from JSON. Technologies included Javascript, JQuery, JSON, Bootstrap Tables, High Chart visualizations, Git, HTML, and CSS.

Worked on a 2 developer server management application. My piece is a dashboard that allows a user to review servers’ status for any time range. Technologies included Javascript, JQuery, Moment.js, JQuery-UI, Heroku, Git, HTML, and CSS.

Implemented custom themed Wordpress sites. One site is publically available at https://www.integralpartnersllc.com/​. The page layout dynamically changes based on the content provided by the site owner. Technologies included PHP, Javascript, JQuery, Pantheon, Git, HTML, and CSS.

Software Tester. Validated the web page style and the user experience successfully implemented the design.

Education

  • I am certificated in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at CalTech.

    In 2022, I completed an 8 month bootcamp covering Python, Data Science, Keras, Tensorflow, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision.

  • I studied Philosophy at Fordham University on a full-tuition scholarship.

    My studies included Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Justice, and Philosophy as a Way of Life. In particular: Aristotle, Nietzsche, and Foucault.

    At Fordham I was President of the Gannon Speech and Debate Team, debating US policy on nuclear weapons, immigration, and international democracy assistance.

    I received Fordham’s Student Leadership award and was awarded membership to Phi Sigma Tau, the Honors Society for Philosophy

  • 18 week course in full stack web development in Ruby, Sinatra, then Rails. Also an emphasis on Javascript, test driven development with RSPEC. The program culminated in our final group project which I led.

About

I’m a data scientist and project manager that gets the job across the finish line.

In addition to my professional work, I am an accomplished runner with personal best 4:36 mile. I have won or placed in many races throughout California ranging in distance from half mile to half marathon.

I am also a performing and recording songwriter, guitarist, and producer with my Scientist Rock collective Apache Wilds. My music available on streaming services everywhere.

I am fluent in Spanish and conversant in French.

I live in Hermosa Beach, California and love swimming in the ocean.
